MAXIMUM VELOCITY 2.0: We Introduce Lisa
In my last post, “Something out of Nothing” (blog post here), I recapped the development and success of Maximum Velocity PT over the first year. The number of people that read and shared my post blew me away. That kind of response from the community reassures me that I’m offering something that people need and want. It also fuels my desire to expand and provide more services to the athletic community. I mentioned in the posting that I had some exciting news around the corner, and I’m happy now to share some of that news.
One of the most important goals I have for MVPT is to be selective and only add passionate professionals who share my vision for bringing quality physical therapy to the Las Vegas active community. When the opportunity came to add a super nice, passionate, talented (athletically and professionally) Physical Therapist to the MVPT family, I jumped on it. I’m excited to announce that Lisa Leonard will be begin working at Maximum Velocity on September 8, 2015. I think you’ll agree that Lisa’s personal athletic achievements are quite impressive. What may not be obvious on paper is that she applies the same passion and dedication to helping others reach their goals through quality care and training.
Lisa brings tenacity for doing good things for people. Her love for endurance sports and athletes is palpable, and she wants to provide a level of patient care that only MVPT can provide. We are ecstatic she is on our team, and we look forward to her reaching her athletic goals, to her progressing as a clinician, and to us able to serve the community is a more broad and wide reaching scope. To my current patients, nothing is going to change unless you want it to! You will continue to see me, and my time will be no different. For those who don’t know Lisa, read on (prepare to be super impressed)!
Lisa graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Scotland in 2011 with a 2:1 BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. During her time at RGU, she volunteered as First Aid/Physiotherapist to the University Men and Women’s Soccer team.
